It began in 1998 with a moment of inspiration…..a bicycle trailer
that transformed into a bicycle case. The B.O.B. trailer provided
the perfect platform to develop the concept around.

After experimenting with soft case ideas, trials with hinged panels
began. This is the first rendition of the panels using hardboard and
a fanning hinge design. |
With a workable concept in place, the CELLO began to emerge. Vertical
and horizontal hinges, a center cover with quick release crossbars,
and an adjustable bracket system were key areas of development.
This is one of 10 prototypes built for travel testing.
